UPPINGHAM

RUTLAND WATER

Rutland Water is a large man-made reservoir in the East Midlands. It’s a popular attraction with over 3,100 acres of water and a nature reserve spanning over 1,000 acres. Activities include sailing, windsurfing, fishing, cycling, and bird watching. Rutland Water has many rare bird species to see, including ospreys and wintering wildfowl. It’s perfect for a family day out, a weekend getaway or longer holiday.
