GIFT VOUCHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to the use of all gift vouchers issued by The George Inn, Oakham (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing, redeeming, or using a gift voucher, you agree to abide by these T&Cs.

1. Validity and Expiry

• Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified
• Gift vouchers must be redeemed before the expiry date; expired vouchers will not be accepted, and any remaining balance will be forfeited.
• Expiry dates are printed on the voucher or can be confirmed by contacting our Reservations team.

2. Redemption

• Gift vouchers can be used for purchases of products and/or services at The George Inn, Oakham, as specified on the voucher.
• Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, re-sold, or refunded, except as required by law.
• If the total purchase exceeds the balance of the voucher, the difference must be paid using another accepted payment method.
• Vouchers must be used in full during one visit – no remaining balance will be carried forward.
• Gift vouchers must be redeemed along side the receipt.

3. Restrictions

• Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase other gift vouchers.
• Promotional or free gift vouchers may have additional restrictions, including limited redemption options or specific product limitations, which will be outlined on the voucher.
• Gift vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other offers.

4. Lost or Stolen Vouchers

• Gift vouchers should be treated as cash. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers and are unable to replace them in such cases.
• To avoid unauthorised use, please keep your gift voucher code private.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

• Refunds or returns for purchases made with a gift voucher will be in the form of a replacement voucher, subject to our standard refund policy.
• If a refund is made for an order purchased with a combination of a gift voucher and another payment method, refunds will be prioritised back to the secondary payment method first.

6. Fraud and Abuse

• We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold gift vouchers for suspected fraud, unauthorised use, or violation of these T&Cs.
• Unauthorised resale or use of vouchers for commercial purposes voids the voucher, and we reserve the right to cancel it without notice.

7. Modification of Terms

• We reserve the right to modify or amend these T&Cs at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to vouchers purchased or redeemed after the effective date of the change.
• Continued use of a voucher after changes to these T&Cs constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These T&Cs are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes arising from or related to these T&Cs will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
